week 2 Project Planning and Cost Consideration


Objective:
·         To configure the project development
·         To get the costing of the project
·         To make the plan and time to finish the
·         Do the project planning using Microsoft project (Gantt Chart)

Procedure:
1.    Produce the table that listing all the activities to be done for the project
2.    List all the component to purchased
·         Resistor 180 ohm, resistor 15M 0hm, resistor 100k ohm
·         Variable resistor 1M ohm
·         Capacitor 1 farad, capacitor 470 micro farad,
·         Transistor TIPP31C npn, zener diode 1 watt, signal diode 1N4148, Transistor 2N3819
·         Solar panel 6v-12v 1mW
·         P.C.B board   
3.    Make a survey the market price of the component
4.    List the component and make costing
5.    Estimate the duration of each task of the project
6.    Key in all the information from the table to ‘Microsoft Project’.
7.    Save the project planning and print out the ‘Gantt chart’

Result and analysis:
·         Project planning is done with Gantt chart
·         Project planning is important to estimate the time and cost to produce the project and details how the project will be conducted stage by stage.
·         Internet survey is needed to make sure the market price.

Conclusion:
The conclusion from the project planning by using the ‘Microsoft Project”, we are able to do the estimating for due time of the project and the cost to start the solar project construct. This is important to us to manage the project regularly.

week 1 Project title confirmation


Objective:
·         To make a decision of what project to choose for FYP
·         To study about the project that we have choose in term of functionality and application of the project
·         To learn how to choose the project that match with the course of study

Content/procedure:
·         Understanding the description of the project that we choose in magazine
·         Make a research list of component that will use.
·         Analyze the component to use in the circuit and try to construct the circuit in ‘multisim’ and other software.
·         Make a decision of chosen project



Result and analysis:
·         Title of the project has been selected
·         Now we can start to study about the project that we have choose
·         We have choose the project “Solar Powered power Supply” as our project title
·         This project is match with our course that is electronics and electrics
·         The reason I choose this project because it is significant to be implement in current industry

                                   
Conclusion:

·         For conclusion, we are able to understand the project that I had been chosen. Also, by choosing this project, we can improve our skill in electrical and electronic. After this, I need to plan in order to design and produce my project
